H: 78cm W: 48cm D: 48cm

A set of four midcentury model 77 paper cord dining chairs designed in Denmark in 1959 by Niels Otto Moller and produced by J.L Moller. Extremely well manufactured, each chair remains as solid as the day it came out of the factory. The paper cord seats are all in good undamaged condition but do show light signs of 50+ years of use but with plenty more life still remaining in them. The teak backrest, uprights and legs have been given a light clean and oil.

Condition: Extremely good condition for its age. The wooden frame shows minimal general age-related wear but are all structurally sound.

Sustainability

Antique and vintage goods are both stylish and sustainable.

They have a low carbon footprint thanks to their existing lifespan and they help reduce deforestation because no trees are being cut to produce them.

They help reduce landfill because, unlike mass-produced non-recyclables, they are high quality in material and craft, and are destined to outlive most other possessions.

Everything we buy interacts with the environment. Second hand furniture and accessories are not only unique, characterful and nostalgic, but also contribute to a sustainable home.
